Date set for this year's CITY CURLING CHAMPIONSHIPS ... and RKCC will play host!!

Have you spent a good deal of time these past few months at home, in your favourite chair, watching curling on TV? Olympics, Scotties, Brier, Worlds ... it has been non-stop. But, soon the season will be over and we will all have to wait until next year to watch a good, competitive game ... unless, you get out of that chair and get on over to the Royal Kingston Curling Club on April 18th, for the 2010 City Curling Championships!

At the end of each curling season, the 3 Kingston curling clubs, Garrison G&CC, Cataraqui G&CC and the Royal Kingston CC, send represenatitves to compete in the City Championships. Each club will send their Junior, Men's (club and flight), Women's (club and flight) and Mixed champions to play off for the City title. The draws are generally scheduled for 9am, 11:30am and 2pm, but this year's draw is not yet confirmed ... check back to our club website sometime this week for an update.

Spectators are welcome and the general public is encouraged to attend!

There is no admission charge, and soup and sandwiches will be available for purchase.

So, please, mark the 18th on your calendar, round up all of the curling fans you know, and come let the Royal Kingston Curling Club treat you to a day of excellent curling.

See you at the club!
