Housekeeping notes ... Pushcar Janitorial returning - Welcome to VanHoutte and Morgan Scott!

BEFORE ...

AND, AFTER ...

Thanks to Pushcar Janitorial Service, ready for another season!

Ron Pushcar, owner of Pushcar Janitorial Service (and, himself, an extreme curling fan!), will be returning as our cleaning provider for the 2011/12 season.  He has asked me to remind the members that they should feel free to comment on the cleanliness of the club throughout the season - report any issues to Graham (me) in the office ...

Since 1946, Pushcar Janitorial has been Kingston's Family in Cleaning and they want to get it right!

A new service/product supplier to our club for the upcoming year has a longstanding tie to the Canadian Curling Community. Morgan Scott, a division of R3 Reliable Redistribution Resource, has come on board to provide paper, plastic and cleaning products to our facility.  The curling tie is reference to one of Morgan Scott's suppliers, Kruger, who manufacture Scotties tissue products.  With the Scotties coming to town in 2013, and considering the brand's longtime association with our sport, the Royal Kingston Curling Club is proud to be affiliated with Morgan Scott.

As part of their support to RKCC, new tissue, soap and paper towel dispensers have been put in place for the upcoming season, including a much needed (and often asked for), additional dispenser for the ladies changeroom ... hope the ladies will be happy with a new wastepaper basket to boot!

Another change for the 2011/12 season will introduce Van Houtte Coffee Services to RKCC.  Looking for a way to improve ready-made, hot drink selection, we have signed up with Van Houtte to provide coin-operated service this season. Along with 2 gourmet coffee blends, hot chocolate, and cafe mocha choices,we will now offer a  French Vanilla Cappuccino!  Of course, hot water on demand remains for all of our dedicated tea drinkers.

The new machine is located where the old one stood, and, although it has more buttons, is easier to operate.  If you would like, any bartender on duty would be happy to help you through your first test drive ... just ask.

As always, if you ever have a comment, or concern, about an aspect of the club's service, please bring it to me in the office.  If I happen to be unavailable, the Manager's Mailbox is a secure method to leave me a signed note.

There are more upgrades planned for the start of the season, and beyond ... I hope each one will contribute positively to your membership at Royal Kingston.

Good Curling!!

  2. I am glad the new machine is appreciated. I think the coffee is much better ... haven't tried the French Vanilla, but I will.
